One Loaf

The bread we break and eat represents the body of Christ. We partake of Him by grace through faith. I break the one loaf so that we see that the picture is one Christ distributed to all of us. Of course, we have several loaves of bread up here but the point is not merely the bread anyway. The point is Jesus.
He is the manna from heaven. He is the rock that followed Israel in the wilderness. He is the Son in whom the Father is well pleased. He is the light of the Gentiles. He is the bridegroom of the church. He is the one name through which all men must be saved. He is the alpha and omega. Jesus is the one loaf in all of this.
So, the one loaf is Jesus. He gives Himself to us so that we all partake of Him. And if we all partake of Him, then we are also represented in the one loaf. We, who are many, are one. One family in Christ, One saved people, One set of brothers and sisters who dwell together in unity.
So, partake in faith in Jesus and be ye one loaf with Him and one loaf in Him.
