Prayer of Thanksgiving for Provision

Our Father, You are gracious, merciful and generous. You have filled us with Your Spirit and filled our mouths with food. All that we have is from Your beneficent hand. You have lavished us with Your benefits in the spiritual and physical realms and we are grateful. Use the work of our hands to bless Your people and advance Your kingdom to the ends of the earth. Amen.

Prayer of Preparation for Communion

Gracious Lord, we thank You for inviting us to dine with at this Table of blessing. You fill us up by Your Spirit and You provide for us in soul and body. Cause us to cling to Christ, His finished work on the cross, His faithfulness to us each day, and His abiding love presented to us when He gave Himself to save us from our sins. Help us to see His glory and embrace it in faith as we eat the bread and drink the wine. Amen.
