Prayer of Praise

O Lord our God, we give You glory, and we gather together today to declare your praise. Go forth as a mighty man before Your enemies, and make them cower at Your war cry. You are sovereign over all the earth, and You prevail against all who rise up against You. You lay waste the mountains and the hills, and dry up rivers and seas.

You protect and lead Your people making darkness light before them, and crooked paths straight. You do these things for us and we know that You will never forsake us. You turn back those who oppose you, who fashion and worship false gods made in their own image. 

You bless and sanctify all those who call upon You with hearts and hands cleansed by the blood of Jesus, for we are Your people, the sheep of Your pasture. We praise and magnify Your name, O Lord. Amen.
