God is For You

Can you say, like David, “This I know, that God is for me?” Sometimes it is difficult to say things like that. We have confessed our sins and in confessing sins, we are aware of our sins and our sinfulness. We may feel as if God is against us because we fail, come up short of His standard and thus, incur His wrath.

And there is some truth to that. Living a hypocritical life does bring the wrath of God. If you are living a lie, there is reason to fear. But that is not the case with most of you, hopefully, all of you. You have trusted in Jesus Christ as Lord and sincerely love Him, even though you commit sins.

And when you sin, you seek the right remedy. You come to the Father, by the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus. God is faithful and just to forgive such sinners. He is Your Father. He is quick to forgive sins. He is glad when you humble yourself and He is pleased to welcome you into His presence and at His table.

Take courage before the Lord for God is for you.
